Brasília – The bill about health insurance plans is expected to become one of the main discussions in the House of Representatives in the second semester. The unilateral cancellation of collective contracts is the main point of controversy in the debate.

The bill’s rapporteur, representative Duarte Jr. (PSB-MA), said that unilateral cancellation by companies must end. On the other hand, operators seek to ensure the maintenance of the clause, arguing that it is crucial for the companies’ economic sustainability.
