Brasília – After resisting pressure from parties, the Minister of Health, Nísia Trindade, opened the doors of her office. She welcomed leaders, parliamentarians, mayors, and governors. Now, she recognizes that she is experiencing a new moment at Esplanada.

She has surpassed the average of her predecessors in the department, who served one and a half years in office. She says she has intensified her agenda with politicians. By paying more attention to demands, she is reducing the pressure on her position. The “goal is to accompany Lula until the end of this term.”
