Brasília – The Ministry of Health announced the allocation of 2.9 million reais in research in the area of Health Technology Assessment (HTA). The public call was opened in partnership with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).

Studies will be covered on two thematic axes. The first axis focuses on the development and improvement of innovative methods. It also includes applications in the area of HTA in the country. The second axis addresses the production of scientific, technological, and innovative studies in the line of HTA for ultra-rare diseases. Registration can be made until September 2nd, on the official CNPq page.

The notice was launched on the second day of the 5th National Science, Technology & Innovation Conference (5th CNCT&I). Other calls were also opened, with the aim of promoting research, development and innovation activities in health, in addition to implementing and recovering institutional infrastructures for science, technology and innovation, in strategic and priority themes for the Unified Health System (SUS).
