Brasília – Big drugstores in the country seem like a business outside the current scenario of Brazilian commerce.
This year, the 29 companies linked with Abrafarma, the main organization in the sector, are projecting to surpass R$100 billion in gross sales.
In five years, retailers will have almost doubled in size, at a faster pace than even food wholesale, a segment that grows based on low prices in times of crisis.
