Brazil has been consolidating its position as an important hub for cancer research in recent years. The Einstein Israelite Hospital, ranked by Newsweek as the best oncology hospital in Latin America and the 19th best in the world in the World’s Best Specialized Hospitals ranking, has stood out for leading advances in precision medicine and clinical research.

Despite these achievements, experts highlight that the country still faces major challenges that require greater investment in research, effective public policies, stronger collaboration between sectors, and broader and more equitable access to treatment.

In this context, Einstein promoted the panel “How to consolidate Brazil among global references in cancer treatment” during the Portraits of Cancer event, aiming to stimulate dialogue and propose strategies to strengthen Brazil’s role in oncology.
