Brasília – The National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) has approved the inclusion of the medication Alectinib Hydrochloride in the mandatory coverage list for private health plans. The drug is indicated as adjuvant treatment for adult patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in stages IB to IIIA, after tumour removal, when an ALK-positive mutation is present.
The required coverage for health-plan beneficiaries begins on December 1, 2025.
