Brasília – The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) has introduced a new digital tool to generate certificates for registered and notified medical devices, replacing the previous SICert platform and expanding self-service options for companies. The solution is integrated into the Solicita system and will modernize the issuance process, offering updated layouts and multilingual certificate options.

The transition begins on November 19, with SICert remaining temporarily available but no longer issuing new documents as of December 1. Additional features include optional inclusion of manufacturing-unit details and a preview function that allows companies to verify certificate information before payment. Anvisa advises manufacturers and importers to prioritize the new system to ensure full regulatory validity.
