Brasília – The Federal Police carried out an operation on November 27 to dismantle an illegal manufacturing scheme responsible for producing and distributing tirzepatide-filled slimming pens without any sanitary authorization. According to investigators, the group operated a clandestine structure that fractionated, filled and labeled the substance on an industrial scale, bypassing all quality, sterility and traceability requirements established by Brazilian health regulations.

Search and seizure warrants were executed across four states, targeting clinics, laboratories, commercial establishments and residences linked to the operation. Authorities reported that the products were marketed online and promoted with aggressive advertising aimed at individuals seeking rapid weight loss. The Federal Police and Anvisa emphasized that the irregular formulations posed serious risks to health, given the absence of verified dosage, purity or safety controls.
