Brasília – Takeda’s global president for vaccines affirmed that there will be no supply restrictions for the company’s dengue vaccine in Brazil in 2026. The executive stated that the pharmaceutical manufacturer has expanded production capacity to meet rising demand and expects stable delivery to both the public and private sectors next year. The announcement comes amid growing attention to dengue prevention strategies, following elevated case numbers and intensified vector-control alerts across the country.

The company emphasized ongoing collaboration with Brazilian health authorities and highlighted that manufacturing and distribution planning for 2026 is already complete. According to Takeda, supply continuity should support broader vaccination efforts and help reduce seasonal pressure on the health system, especially in regions with historically high dengue transmission.
