Brasília – The National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) held the 120th meeting of the Supplementary Health Chamber (CAMSS) on Thursday (11), bringing together representatives from government, industry, consumer groups and other health-sector stakeholders to discuss ongoing regulatory priorities. During the session, ANS president Paulo Rebello emphasized that the agency’s next regulatory agenda is currently being developed and that contributions from various actors will be central in shaping future norms and guidelines.
The meeting addressed structural challenges in service provision, transparency initiatives and mechanisms to strengthen dialogue between the regulator and the sector. ANS highlighted that CAMSS remains a key forum for aligning expectations and ensuring that regulatory updates balance public-interest considerations with the operational demands of health plan operators.
